No matter what it is, they won't disappoint.
Unless the Wii motion plus removes the lag, the precision is rather meaningless.

You hit right there. Buttons are a must. I wrote a post the other day trying to explain that. Project Natal could be enhanced greatly if there was to hold and push. If the PS motion controller is done right, it could allow similar controls that the dualshock has while adding an extra layer of immersion. Several years ago I thought Nintendo had that capability, but their final product came out something the Eye Toy. The Eye Toy can be fun but there is little depth...
If its anything like Super Metroid, I will be happy.
Nintendo loses a little respect from me every time they make another peripheral.
The vitality sensor?!?!
Ahh but a second Mario much better.
ahhhh Must have!!!
Except I need to play the second one, just found a used one the other day. Loved the first one though.
Now I finally think Project Natal has some hope beyond a gimmick. Just hope the developers think about these kind of things.
The only thing I don't like right now is that there is no background to the game currently (that I know of). If there is going to be a story this game looks like it will be great, but right now it kind of feels like the story I might find in Soul Caliber. Hope for the best though.

Well, I would be jealous of Alan Wake, but I finally bought a 360 this last March. Even if it is superior on the PC not everyone will be able to play it on decent settings.
I agree there was nothing really mind blowing that pulls fanboys over, but they did do a good job of getting owners of the system excited for upcoming games. They reinvigorated my anticipation for Alan Wake. That by far is what I want on my 360 right now.
It surpassed mine also, but I wasn't expecting much. They showed off more of their games unlike last year's E3. They sold themselves much better this year. Sony on the other hand has many big games likely to be shown, but I want to what Sony has that counters MGS:Rising's announcement (I thought that was the biggest thing for Microsoft).
If it MGS is indeed exclusive (keeps flipping back and forth) then Microsoft had a successful show this year, else it is only a moderate impr...
I thought this was an average show. They showed off their upcoming games Halo and Alan Wake, teased people with things like Epic's game and Natal, and showed off an unexpected multiplatform game MGS Rising (well I think it is multiplatform right now). This seemed better than last years show though.
Sony did create the Eye Toy for the ps2, but it was no where near this sophisticated. It only detected motion, but this keeps track the orientation/position of the person in its line of sight. There is probably something else that came before that though.
If it is true that it can detect small movement of the face, this could be interesting, but the video shown at E3 was very underwhelming. You can't ever really get away from buttons, joysticks, etc. because people like to feel what they are holding, pushing, kicking, etc. This is why many of the touch phones have haptic feedback.
Just looks like an enhanced eye Toy. It looks far more sophisticated, but they are using it like a gimmick in the video. Hopefully the dashboard integration is more interesting.
This is absolutely amazing. Definitely keeping track of this.
I wish all companies would try to do similar. I always enjoy listening to things in the original language.
Amazing, I always love seeing these kind of things.

That stuck out. At first I thought it was just the translators wording, but then I saw how blunt that statement was. He definitely made it clear where his team is and what are their priorities.
